Amanda is awesome! I am taking ASL III at North Seattle College, and Amanda is the difference between simply getting through the class and actually learning ASL. She is patient, encouraging, and always willing to explain things in a way that makes sense. As an older student, I sometimes get frustrated trying to remember signs and grammar, but Amanda never makes me feel rushed or discouraged.

Thorne was amazing! It was my first tutoring session for ASL ever and I learned SO much, and we had a wonderful time chatting about mutual interests. I set up regular sessions with them, and am so excited to be able to further my ASL knowledge from a native speaker! I had my first lesson with Amanda today. Because I am older, I wanted to try a one-on-one private lesson. She made me feel very comfortable with the little knowledge of ASL I have and at the end of class I was very pleased. Amanda emailed me a list of words we used to study and practice. I would refer her to the oldest or youngest person interested in learning ASL.

Mei was a wonderful teacher. She was very easygoing and patient with me. I’ve only had one lesson so far, but I think it’s already helped my confidence!

My daughter and I have had two lessons with Amber Rose and she has been so wonderful! She’s very patient with us and makes lessons fun. We look forward to our lessons with her!
